What are the classifications of digital printing processing methods, and what are their advantages and disadvantages.

1. Digital direct printing

The digital direct jet printing method is suitable for disperse, acid dyes, coatings, and reactive inks. The digital direct jet printing method is a process of direct jet printing on the semi-finished textiles that have been sized. The process is: select the corresponding ink according to the textile, Carry out pattern design, sizing, and then go to the textile direct spray printing machine for direct spray printing, and then dry, steam, wash, dry, soften and shape and other processes (the paint can be fixed by baking once)

2. Thermal transfer method

Thermal transfer printing method: use disperse dye ink to print the processed pattern on a specific paper first, after drying, cover the printed printing paper on the fabric to be printed, enter the thermal transfer printing machine, heat and pressurize , make the fabric pass through the thermal transfer printing machine, sublimate (vaporize) the dye ink on the transfer paper pattern and transfer it to the fabric to complete the entire printing process without subsequent color fixing treatment, and the transfer fabric is processed by semi-finished products If there is no softener added, the softener may affect the coloring rate.

3. Cold transfer method

Like thermal transfer printing, it is necessary to print textile dyes on paper first, and then use special machinery to emboss the paper and fabric to realize the transfer of patterns. There are two ways to deal with the embossed fabric, one is to carry out traditional process such as steaming, washing, and shaping; the other is to carry out cold batch chemical reaction treatment to fix the color (the fabric needs to be chemically treated in advance).

Use reactive, disperse, acid and other dye inks, and this process is suitable for fabrics other than blended fabrics.

The printing effect of the direct injection process has good permeability, high processing efficiency, fast sample production, no need for plate making, good environment, fast digital sample production, no need for color separation for any pattern, high precision, bright colors, strong layering, and can achieve photo effects. It is very suitable for multi-pattern small batch production mode, and the post-processing is easy to process; thermal transfer printing is only suitable for high temperature resistant fabrics such as polyester, but the cost is lower than that of direct injection process, suitable for mass production.
